Long days on the trail demand shorts that combine pragmatism with performance. These 2-in-1 shorts feature a quick-drying UV-protective shell with a compressive short underneath and four pockets.

Our Off Roads Crew is designed with versatility and grit in mind, combining the inherent properties of Merino wool in a pragmatic mid-layer silhouette for running in changeable weather.

Wrecked and Tired

from the afternoon, the group unwound with beers and carbs at their cabin, refueling for another adventure in the morning. Awakening to cooler temperatures and sore from the previous day’s efforts, the group hit the trails for a tamer run to Kaaterskill Falls. At 260 feet with powerful double cascades, the picturesque falls were a favorite of the painters from the Hudson River School. Here was a prime opportunity to pause and take in the scene, the kind of quiet, contemplative moment that’s rare on a run in New York. Scrambling over rocks and shouting over the roar of water, real life felt far away. And that’s the point of going off roads.

We worked with the team at Mission Workshop to craft a weatherproof, hydration backpack that is as at home in the city as it is on the trails.

Midst greens and shades the Catterskill leaps,

From cliffs where the wood-flower clings;

All summer he moistens his verdant steeps

With the sweet light spray of the mountain springs;

And he shakes the woods on the mountain side,

When they drip with the rains of autumn-tide.
